Recent studies prove achievement in education is not directly related to the funding, but rather to a low teacher to student ratio. We are very fortunate in South Dakota to have teaching professionals with a passion to serve. The question becomes: Can we keep them or be able to replace them some day when they retire? Not under the current mode of operation.
