It’s true that the world has become globalized. With that in mind, we must remember that not everyone is like us here in South Dakota.
We should all take a little time to get to know more about other cultures. We are becoming a melting pot in business and in our neighborhoods. Degrees and courses in Global Studies are becoming more prevalent now, and they are geared to make a person applicable to work in a globalized world.
Sometimes we can get a little reluctant to be accepting of things different than what we are used to. But pushing ourselves to be global citizens is imperative if we are to remain competitive.
